Julia carias-linares

Julia Carias-Linares is a founding member of Freedom Global Network (FGN), which partners with government and private funding to build and develop next-generation communications in Latin America. FGN’s mission is to help equip under-resourced countries to succeed in the future global economy.

Carias-Linares is a media executive and businesswoman. She is a founding partner and CEO of FREEDOM STUDIOS, INC. a media company creating thought-provoking, groundbreaking, and uplifting content for the global market that inspires social change. Currently, with a slate of unscripted and scripted formats, their goal is to create diverse and inclusive content.

Carias-Linares's expertise is in sourcing projects, developing talent, and securing intellectual properties. As a television executive, she has worked for three of A+E Television Networks’ global brands – Lifetime, A&E, and fyi, As part of the core team that successfully re-branded the Biography channel to fyi, into the number one upscale entertainment network on ad-supported cable in 2015.

She has managed over 200+ hours of television programming which was part of a $80M budget. She produced some of the top-rated series for the network including Married Life (2017 Primetime Emmy Consideration), Married At First Sight (2015 Critics Choice Awards Nominee), Seven Year Switch, and more.

As a fearless entrepreneur, Carias-Linares has created opportunities for herself and in 2016, launched JCL Staging & Design, LLC, a brand that started serving top-producing brokerages in the luxury residential real estate market and has now pivoted into renovations. JCL has designed for Compass, Douglas Elliman, Luxian International Realty, A+E Television Networks, History Channel, Discovery, and TLC channel. Her designs have helped sell over $30M in residential real estate and have been featured in the NYTimes, History Channel, Discovery, TLC, Apartment Therapy, Dormify, PIX11 News, and HeyBeauti Magazine. She and her husband, Alfredo Linares are the subjects of a new renovation show called Fix Mi Casa currently being shopped in the market. Their work has been recognized for its ingenuity, sophistication, and creativity. She believes that good design goes beyond aesthetics and has the power to influence action through simplicity, functionality, and sophistication.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mount Saint Vincent and studied acting at the renowned American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. She is a member of the Executive Peer Group for the Television Academy, The Emmy’s.

Charlie Biondolillo

SVP, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & FOUNDING MEMBER

A graduate of Illinois State University (2001) with a BA in Economics, he has built a track record of significant multi-disciplinary accomplishments in both the US and Honduras. Mr. Biondolillo was responsible for the physical expansion of the African Palm Oil storage facilities at the Port of Castilla in Trujillo, Honduras, procuring and coordinating all labor and materials, and overseeing the construction activities.  He was also responsible for the remodeling of the port facilities for the Port of Roatan, installation of the main power grid to serve Building C, Design/Build the main offices for Royal Caribbean, Building A. For Banana Coast Port in Trujillo, he was responsible for working with the local and federal government agencies to develop policies and protocols for permitting marinas, cruise ports, and accredited Zoological parks.  He also served as construction coordinator for Life Vision Development.

Mr Biondolillo was the Developer and Director of Banana Coast Tours, responsible for developing and managing all land tours for cruise ship passengers when calling at Trujillo.  This included procurement of all equipment for the tours, training all guides, and establishing policies and procedures.

He is currently the project manager for a German University Campus for Investigative Research in Anthropological Studies in Guadalupe, Santa Fe, Honduras (this is currently ongoing). From 2022 to 2024, Mr Biondolillo was the project manager in charge of major hotel renovations in Atlanta and Miami.  For the new Loews Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, he was responsible for the coordination and installation of all Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) for 247 guestrooms, 200+ seating pool deck, 200+ seating restaurant, and 1,500+ capacity ballroom and conference center. 

In Atlanta, he recently completed the FFE installation for the 148-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Duluth, Ga.

Richard v. reikenis, p.e., ncees, leed ap

CIVIC ENGINEER & FOUNDING MEMBER

Mr. Reikenis has more than 40 years of infrastructure and environmental engineering-related experience in feasibility studies, design, and implementation of major civil engineering and public works improvement programs in both the public and private sectors. Since 1978, much of his work has been on projects located in Central and Southern Florida, as well as with infrastructure projects in Central/Eastern Europe, the Near East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean.  He is currently active on projects and initiatives in Florida, Africa, and Central America.

As a former City Commissioner and Mayor of the City of West Palm Beach, Florida from 1985 to 1989, Mr. Reikenis developed the knowledge and background that allows him to best serve public and private sector clients in emerging markets. He also served on the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority, where he was responsible for policy making and implementation of a 2,000-ton-per-day integrated solid waste management system, and on

the Florida League of Cities Board of Directors and Executive Board. While he was President of Adopt-A-Family of Palm Beach County in 1989-1991, the organization received a Point-of-Light designation from President George H W Bush.

He served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches for two years from 2020 to 2022, is Chairman of the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, and served on the Advisory Council of The LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Mr. Reikenis has developed a reputation for strategic planning to achieve the most economical strategies for future growth and flexibility on behalf of his clients and projects. He was technical director for several new resort developments in the Bahamas totaling over 3,000 acres and in Panama served as Principal-in-Charge for the engineering feasibility work for Isla Palenque, a 400-acre island Eco-resort on the Pacific Coast of Panama near Boca Chica.

From 1994 to 1999, Mr. Reikenis served as project director for Near East International, LLC for infrastructure project investment in Gaza, Palestine.  He was responsible for helping establish the first Palestinian/American utility company to provide water/sewer treatment and distribution/collection for Al-Zahra City in the Gaza Strip.

He served as project director for such projects as the Inskoy New Town, a 500-unit residential project in the Kemerovo Oblast in south-central Siberia Russia (1993-1994), numerous feasibility studies for environmental and industrial remediation projects in Poland and Hungary (1991-1992), and the Master Development and Economic Plan for the Port of Palm Beach, Florida (1994-1995). Mr. Reikenis was also responsible for a major privatization initiative of a portion of the SIDEX steel mill in Galati, Romania.  Many of the successful projects and follow-on work in Central/Eastern Europe began with USTDA Feasibility Study grants that ultimately led to program funding and execution.
